Green Party makes history in North Herefordshire as Ellie Chowns defeats Conservatives

- First time this area has elected a non-Conservative MP since 1906
- Greens more than quadrupled vote share (43.2%) on 2019 result (9.3%)
- Result almost equals the largest majority ever overturned in a single seat at a general election
- Previous highest vote share for a party other than Conservatives since seat created in 2010 was 31% for Lib Dems in 2010
- Ellie becomes the only female MP to represent any part of Herefordshire since Members were first sent to Westminster in 1295
