Ellie attended and spoke at the early September Westminster Hall Debate on the national security assessment on global biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse.  She stated the national security case for action on biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse, drawing on the Government’s own national security assessment, and referencing wildfires, drought, record heat, the worst-ever arable harvest and the disaster on the Tibet / Nepal border.
