Constituency Fund

Purpose I am setting aside £12,000 per year from my MP salary to support projects in the constituency that make life better by tackling inequality through care and creativity.

Who can apply Any charity or Community Interest Company (CIC) based in or working in the North Herefordshire constituency can apply.  Preference will be given to local organisations. (In exceptional circumstances I will consider applications from those that are not a charity or CIC. In such cases, the applicant should explain why they are not registered). The maximum available is £1000 per organisation per year. How to apply To apply, please email me an application of maximum 1 page / 500 words, answering the following questions:

  1. Organisation and project name
  2. Amount requested (max available is £1000)
  3. Proposed activities: What do you want to spend the money on?
  4. Expected outcomes: What do you hope the project will achieve or contribute to?

(When answering Questions 3 and 4, please ensure you include information about how your project will tackle inequality, and show care and creativity). Please also include the following information:

  1. Your full name and contact details.
  2. Charity or CIC number. (If you are not formally registered, please explain why not).
  3. Details of two referees.

I will make funding decisions every three months, in November, February, May and August.
