It was fascinating to have a tour around the inner workings of the wonderful local Wye Valley Brewery! This brilliant local company sources most of its hops locally and supplies delicious beer to umpteen pubs both in Herefordshire and the wider region – as well as selling bottled beer through shops and supermarkets! Over the years they’ve done amazing work to make the brewery as environmentally-friendly as possible, including massively improving energy efficiency, installing PV panels, shifting to electric vehicles and lots more! Vernon the MD is passionate about how business can do good in the world, while making a fantastic product and turning a profit too. Cheers to that!
