Letter to the Foreign Secretary
Today, Adrian Ramsay, Carla Denyer, Sian Berry and I wrote to David Lammy to clarify the Government's position on the risk of genocide in Gaza. The full text of the letter is below. Letter to David Lammy MP, Minister of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development...
Letter to the Chancellor and Environment Minister
Yesterday's Budget included a worrying 2% real-terms reduction in DEFRA’s revenue budget over the next two years. For that reason, I have today written to the Chancellor and the Environment Minister to urge the government to consider the serious implications of an...
Letter to the Schools Minister
Yesterday, I spoke in an important debate on SEND provision in schools. I raised the case of Westfield School in Leominster, and asked the Government to commit to the School Rebuilding Programme and the vital capital funding it provides. As my question was not...
About Ellie
I was elected as your Green Party MP for North Herefordshire in July 2024. I’m here to listen to you and represent you as a strong champion for North Herefordshire in Westminster.
My top priorities are strengthening our local economy, improving public services, and protecting nature.
In a typical week in the role so far I spend 4 days in Westminster and 2 days working in the constituency. In the House of Commons I might be speaking in a debate about a bill, taking part in a briefing, meeting with the other Green Party MPs or reviewing policy. Back home in Herefordshire, I visit schools, businesses, aid groups, charities, events and hold meetings with organisations. I support my team of caseworkers and we review what constituents are raising as important issues for them. I run a surgery each Friday, meeting constituents face to face.
I’ve lived in Herefordshire for 20 years, previously serving as a local councillor and an MEP: it’s an honour to have been elected MP for North Herefordshire.

Voice for North Herefordshire
The number one complaint I hear from residents: “the politicians don’t listen to us in Herefordshire”.
For too long there has been no voice for local people at Westminster. Ellie is a strong voice for North Herefordshire.
Action to Protect Nature
Whether it’s river pollution, protection of our wildlife or tackling climate change, it’s clear we must change our national priorities.
As Green MP for North Herefordshire, Ellie is demanding action to protect nature.
Support for Constituents
